Men Take Time Dressing Up As Well, You Know

One fashion and behavioral phenomenon that I'm pretty sure most of us here have experienced one time or another is that of women who literally spend hours deciding what to wear on a big day out. I don't know what's wrong with them, but they always have a hard time deciding what looks good on them and what does not.

Fortunately or unfortunately, however, it is not only women who take too long to find the right clothes these days. It used to be that the stereotype held that way, with men dressing up in just about five to fifteen minutes while the women take hours. These days, there isn't much stereotyping as I know a lot of men who also take hours just to wear something casual!

Personally, there's no better example of this than my brother. Dear brother literally takes hours looking through the clothes in his cabinet while looking at the different shirts there is. When he is just trying to choose between his multitudes of shirts, I am baffled. How can one have a difficult time choosing a right shirt for the same set of jeans? Really, I don't know. Women, I can still understand because the variety of clothes that women have are usually so many. The combinations can be very varied as well. But men and shirts? I really don't know.

If there's some comfort that can be found in it, at least a lot of men try to dress up and look good these days. Gone are the days when a real man can be supposedly identified when he's always looking messy, disorganized, and unhygienic. At least we can say that a lot of "real" men these days also know the value of proper grooming and hygiene. Thank goodness that kind of stereotype is now gone as well.

I still don't know how a man can take too long just to dress up, though. Are fashion rules really that difficult to comprehend these days?
