It happens only once every four years, and right now is that time. It's FIFA Women's World Cup again and I'm sure that if your country is playing, you must have been wondering if it's possible to incorporate the clothes of these ladies into your everyday attire. The thing is, you can wear a football jersey and shorts and walk around it in town if you will not only be too picky with dresses and such.
The core part of football fashion is the football jersey. It is not really the kind of fashionable attire that you would wear to a party, but it certainly brings out your sporty side, which may or may not work well for you. Hopefully your team's jersey have colors that are easy to match with or are easy on the eye. The jersey of Brazil's national team is OK because it is worn by Brazil's team, but the colors are just awful! Football jerseys are 100% polyester, but you can try pairing it up with a pair of jeans so that you look more sporty. If you are a guy, you can match it perhaps with khaki shorts but the jeans are still the best way to go because they tend to be independent of your shirt's color. As for the football shorts, sorry guys and girls, you can't wear these polyester shorts anywhere else other than the gym. Forget wearing them inside the mall because you will just look like a lost kid instead of the stylish guy or girl that you wished to be. Lastly, we have the scarf. A rule of thumb for football scarves is to wear them only during game day. I understand that many of us want to show our devotion to our respective teams, but wearing a full national team scarf during an ordinary day at a public place just looks so desperate.
