It is extremely difficult to wear formal trousers on every occasion. However, denims are one such thing that can be worn on every possible occasion. Yes, it has been found that denims can be worn on official purposes and obviously as casual or party wear. Though it is advisable that one should not wear denims to office, yet, at times if the denim is formal enough it can be worn.

In the last 15-20 years, we have seen huge amount of change in the kind of denims that people like and wear. To start with, in the 1980s and beginning of 1990s, people loved wearing denims which were flared at the end. This made people look slim and it never used to look good on people who were slightly over-weight.

This fashion soon faded and people started wearing boot cut denims. Some companies even started making bellbottom denims, which looked good, but never looked formal. These denims were only appreciated when worn with a t-shirt and not with a shirt. These boot cut denims did not move out of the market, but their existence continued only for tapered denims to enter.

The advantage that these denims have is that they can be worn with shirts as well as t-shirts, which means whether it is a formal or informal for all occasions you can wear denims. Another advantage of these denims is that it does not depend on your build, which means irrespective of your build, you can wear denims that are tapered in the end.

However, it is advised that such denims are teamed up with t-shirts or casual shirts with a sneaker, if you are really skinny or slippers if you have a good build. There are some people who believe that denims make any person look good but the truth is one needs to know the kind of denim that suits him/her before buying any.
