Some colors will look good on fair skin but may not be suitable for olive skin, and vice versa. Here are some colors that will bring out the best in everyone, no matter what skin tone or hair color you have.

Purple

Some colors look great for every skin tone and hair color. This is because they are in the middle of the color spectrum, meaning they're not too warm or too cool. One of these colors is purple. Experts call it "the perfect purple" due to its extreme versatility which is almost like a black, a dark brown, or a navy.

Red

One saying said, "When in doubt, wear red." This is true because red does not only stop traffic but it can also make you look stunning regardless of your skin tone or hair color. A study found that athletes in sport competitions who wore red were more likely to win than those wearing other colors. Wearing true red will look good on everyone because it is situated in the center of the color spectrum, in between a cool cherry red and an orangey tomato red.

Teal

Colors located on opposite sides of the color wheel enhance each other. This is why strawberries look so good when boxed up in green containers. So, this teal, situated opposite of pink in the color wheel, gives a healthy flush in the skin. Not only that but it's more flexible than a bright turquoise, allowing you to wear it well with black, brown, and other neutral colors.

Mellow Rose

This shade is a more classy shade compared to its other hues. It is somewhere between a light pink and a peach, making it look more like a neutral instead of a pastel. This subtle color emphasizes the natural flush of a person’s face, giving anyone who wears it a glow.
