The little ones may not be as familiar with the Material Girl as much as we are, owing to the fact that they were not yet alive during the peak of Madonna's career, but they sure won't be able to resist the fashion finds that they are going to see once they find out that Madonna, along with her daughter, decided to come up with a clothing line for young women, set to be released next week. This makes a perfect opening for a back-to-school shopping season.
The collection is entitled, "Material Girl," after the song that Madonna herself popularized in the 80's. For this endeavor, she teamed up with her very own daughter, Lola, to create the designs that will be available in the clothing line. Meanwhile, Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen will help the line kick off next week as its very own image model. The collection is said to fall under the fast-fashion subtype, with most of the pieces lying in between the prices of $12 to $40. The line will be exclusively available in 200 Macy's stores nationwide or in the official Macy's website. Quite obviously, the 80's has been a very important period in time for women's fashion. It was the time when Madonna became a symbol for female empowerment and fashion revolution. People are just not ready to let this out yet, especially since the Material Girl herself is still around to relive some of those glorious days. And what better way to relive those good old days than to introduce a fashion line for young girls who may otherwise not be familiar with the line. Lola brings an extra touch to it by making sure that the line knows very well what the kids in their teens are willing to purchase. Both women had styles of their own, which, when mixed together, forms a Material Girl line that will pick on the interests of our young girls. You can talk about...
