When picking out a color for your makeup, your hair color should be the primary determinant, along with your skin color. You might notice that some makeup colors don't suit you. This is because the makeup color that you use don't match up with your crowning glory's color. We're giving out some tips on how you can make sure that your make up color and hair color make a perfect fit.

Redheads probably have the most difficult time choosing a makeup color of all types of people. This is because of the deep contrast between their bright hair color and their skin tone. It is recommended to use warmer colors instead of the cooler ones. Green is always cited to be the perfect color because of the complimentary nature of red and green, but colors like peach won't hurt either.

The same can be said about blondes. Go for softer pastel colors for your makeup palettes. Anything strong will make you look trying hard. Go for ash or pale pink eye shadow and dark brown mascara. Plum colors like light pink, peach, and rose also look very attractive as a lipstick color.

Those with brown or black hair have an easier time making their skin tone stand out because of the contrast against their hair color, but they don't have as much shining quality as, say, the blondes. You can work on this by using light-reflecting peaches or coral tones to give your skin a stand-out appeal. In my opinion, black and brown hair are the easiest to work with, as long as the skin tone mixes well, because they are already stunning as it is.
